On average I spend around 2 hours a day in the kitchen preparing meals. Some nights I like eating something that would take 10 minutes from preparation to eating. This is the cooking time of a frozen meal. The only difference is that I know exactly what is on my plate and know that it is healthy,free of sugar and added salt.
Tonight’s 10 minute dinner was pan fried salmon with microwaved garlic jacket potatoes and salad. The salmon was ready in 8 minutes and the potatoes took 6 minutes. Whilst it is not as easy as opening a box and putting it in the microwave it is much healthier and cheaper.
