Apple & Berry Crumble
Filling
- 2 large Granny Smith Apples
- 1 1/2 cups frozen Berries
- 1 1/2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 tablespoons organic pure honey
Peel and dice apples into cubes and combine with berries, melted butter and honey. Â Stir until evenly coated. Â Pour into a medium baking dish.
Crumble
- 3/4 cup whole oats
- 3/4 cup wholemeal flour
- 4 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon honey
Using the same mixing bowl combine all the crumble ingredients together. Â Sprinkle over the top and apple and berry mixture. Â Cover with foil and bake in a 180 degree oven for 20 minutes. Â Uncover and cook for a further 15-20 minutes. Â If you like your crumble extra crunchy pop under the grill. Â Serve with home-made vanilla ice cream.
