Mug cakes are a quick and easy way to eliminate those after dinner cravings for something sweet. They only take 5 minutes from prep to eating 🙂 This one is a favourite of mine.
- 3 tablespoons wholemeal self-raising flour
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons sugar-free apple puree/sauce
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Simply combine the ingredients in your mug and microwave for 1 – 2 minutes depending on your microwave. For something extra I normally add a spoon of extra apple sauce in the centre so that the cakes stays extra moist 🙂 Sprinkle over some extra cinnamon just before eating.
