This dessert is delicious and I always go back for seconds. It can be used for any fruit that you have in your fridge that is a little past it’s due date. I have made it with peaches, pears, apples and apricots before but this is my first time with nectarines and I think it has become my favourite. Enjoy 🙂
Baked Nectarines with Almond Crumble
- 4 ripe nectarines, halved and stone removed
- 4 tablespoons sliced almonds
- 2 tablespoons wholemeal flour
- 1 tablespoons whole oats
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
In a small bowl combine almonds, flour, oats, melted butter and syrup. Spoon mixture over nectarines. Bake in a 180 degree oven until nectarines are soft and crumble has browned. Serve with home-made vanilla ice cream.
