After living to excess and eating whatever they wanted over the school holidays it’s time for the girls to get back into the habit of eating better. These Chocolate Oat Bliss Balls with help with the sugar cravings and will also give them a dose of fibre to keep them fuller for longer.
The recipe is simple and its a matter of mix and roll 🙂
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Rolled Oats
- 1 Cup Coconut
- 2 Tablespoon Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 1.5 Tablespoons Malt Extract or Golden Syrup
- 1 Tablespoon Honey
- 1 Tablespoon Almond Butter
- 1-2 Tablespoons Water
Process mixture in Thermomix at speed 5 until it comes together. You may need to add a little extra water a teaspoon at a time.
Roll heaped teaspoons of the mixture into balls. This mixture will make approximately 15 bliss balls.
Store in the fridge in an air tight container and pop straight into their lunchboxes.
