These chicken skewers are simple and quick to make. They are perfect for a week night meal.
Honey, Soy & Garlic Chicken Skewers
- 2 organic free range chicken breasts, diced into cubes
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon tamari or soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon pure honey
If using bamboo skewers allow to soak in a bowl of water for 5 minutes. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and allow to marinate (the longer the better but if you are in a hurry 10 minutes will be fine). Thread chicken onto skewers. You can add any vegetables at this stage and alternate with the chicken (onion,zucchini, capsicum). Cook skewers on a grill or hot plate for 3-4 minutes each side or until cooked through. Serve with salad and baked potatoes. Try adding some thinly sliced peach to your salad for a different flavour. Enjoy 🙂
