Maple Glazed Pineapple
Remove skin and core from a large pineapple. Slice pineapple to desired size. Place on a lined baking sheet. Pour over 3 tablespoons of maple syrup and turn each piece of pineapple until they are all evenly coated. Bake in a preheated 200 degree oven for 30 minutes until softened. Serve warm with homemade vanilla ice cream.
Vanilla Ice Cream
- 3/4 cup cream
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
Mix ingredients in a jug and pour into ice cream maker. Churn until set.
This recipe is best made in an ice cream maker.
