Maple & Pecan Waffles
- 1 3/4 cups milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 tablespoon pure maple syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon bi carb soda
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups wholemeal flour
- 1/2 cup diced pecans
In a jug or mixing bowl whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter and maple syrup. Â Pour this mixture into a bowl containing the mixed flour, bi-carb soda and baking powder. Â Mix until combined. Â Gently fold through the pecans. Â Cook waffles in a waffle maker until golden and crispy. Â Serve with fresh berries and maple syrup.
